What is dental bonding?

This moldable, plastic resin is applied over the tooth and then reshaped to hide common issues such as discolorations, chips and cracks, and even gaps between teeth.

What makes dental bonding such a great method for improving the look of your smile is that it can often be done in just one visit and is not invasive.

Once your teeth are thoroughly cleaned, we will apply a painless conditioning liquid over your teeth. This liquid makes it easier for the bonding material to stick to the tooth as we mold and sculpt the plastic resin.

Before the resin is placed over the tooth we will match it to the shade of your tooth so that you won’t even be able to tell which tooth or teeth were treated with dental bonding. Once the resin is perfectly shaped we will direct a dental laser over the tooth to harden the resin in place. The tooth is given a good polish and then your smile is good to go!
